Brazil World Cup 2014 Predictions: Uruguay vs. Colombia Match Preview; La Celeste To Struggle Without Suarez, Los Cafeteros Without Falcao

A lot of people would agree that Uruguay's Luis Suarez biting attack against Italy's Giorgio Chiellini was obnoxious and hysterical, but everyone would agree more on the fact that his absence in the Uruguay team will leave a bigger mark on the team's performance for today's match against Colombia.

Suarez had been officially booted out of the World Cup as part of his four- month long suspension and nine-match ban. Even though the Liverpool player had some issues prior to the event, he is undoubtedly a big loss for the La Celeste team.

On their opener, the a Suarez- less Uruguayan team lost to Costa Rica. For their second match, they managed to win against England, thanks to Suarez's colourful two goals.

However, the Uruguay team coach Oscar Tabarez reassured his team. "We've already played lots of matches without Suarez," he said.

"We've won some, and we've lost some, and he wasn't there against Costa Rica either."

On the other hand, Colombia is also missing one of their best players, Radamel Falcao. He is one of the best strikers in the field, but is unable to attend the World Cup because of a knee injury.

However, unlike Uruguay, the Colombia team had very much proven that they can manage even without Falcao after finishing first in their group.

"We know the ability that Uruguay have and in each match they give every last drop of sweat. It will be a highly emotional match, where Uruguay will want to do things correctly," Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina said.

Prediction: Uruguay is in big trouble now that Suarez is out from the World Cup. The Colombian team, on the other hand, have one of the best records in the tournament so far. No kind of trick can put Uruguay on top of Colombia. And with that, I am rooting for a 2-1 win in favour of the Los Cafeteros.
