After it was officially announced that Robert Downey Jr. has signed with Marvel for two more "Avengers" movies, people expect that there will be, indeed, "The Avengers 2" and "The Avengers 3".

While everybody are busy with "The Avengers: Age of Ultron", the rumors and talks about the third installment have started spreading as well. Apart from Downey reprising his role as Tony Stark/Iron Man, and most probably his last time to play the Marvel character, Chris Pratt and Thomas Kretschmann are said to be included in the cast as Peter Quill/Star-Lord and Baron von Strucker, respectively.

Because everything is written in black and white except for Downey's, the production line-up is expected to change, especially after the "The Avengers 2" has been released. The plot of the iconic story in the Marvel Comics "Civil War" are rumored to be the theme in "The Avengers 3"; however, adapting the whole story might not be possible because first, it has so many characters and lastly, the other characters are owned by other studios, like Spider-Man. So, even if Andrew Garfield is interested to appear in the movie, it looks like he has to wait for a possible crossover.

In case "Civil War" will be pursued in the third installment, the storyline may be hazy. It seems that it won't be complete without Spider-Man in the story because he plays a great part in the storyline.

With planned appearance of Peter Quill/Star-Lord in "The Avengers 3", it will be a sure thing that the story will be connected to the "Guardian of the Galaxy". It was debunked that the film will also adapt the storyline of World War Hulk.

It is not sure yet if Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, and Chris Hemsworth will return in the movie; but, of course, Steve Rogers/Captain America, Dr. Bruce Banner/Hulk, and Thor are sure to appear in the film, particularly Captain America in case it's true that "Civil War" will be used as plot.
