Manny Pacquiao news features UAE fight promoter Prince Amir Shafipour's statements saying that the super fight against Floyd Mayweather can still happen as early as September this year.

Shafipour already released a statement in early June, saying that "he has the formula" to make the highly anticipated match-up happen.

However, Top Rank promoter Bob Arum immediately dismissed the Manny Pacquiao news, and went as far as describing it as a scam.

"It's a scam," Arum told Philippine news outlet ABS-CBN in an interview early this month. "I don't know about this fellow. Maybe he is honest, maybe he is not honest."

But most recently, Shafipour insisted that he would be able make the fight happen this year, in a statement he released to Gulf News.

"I will honestly and truthfully tell you that if anyone can convince them to fight, and to fight in Dubai, I can," he said. "I have a lot of worldwide connections, with managers, promoters, fighters, people in the business, who speak the same language that Mayweather and Pacquiao are speaking."

"You have to be on the same page as them and only then will you get their attention," he said.

Meanwhile, Peter Fury, uncle and trainer of former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, believes that "Pacman" will be able to come out victorious if a fifth fight against Juan Manuel Marquez would happen.

In an interview with On the Ropes Boxing Radio, Fury is expecting Manny Pacquiao to avenge his most recent defeat via decision.

"It's gonna be a good fight, but I just see Pacquiao a clear points winner," Fury said about the Manny Pacquiao news.

Fury also pointed out the Manny Pacquiao is a better fighter compared to 2012 when he last faced Juan Manuel Marquez, and that "El Dinamita's" victory was because of a "freak punch."

"I think the Marquez fight, the last time, was a freak punch," Fury continued. "I see Pacquiao as more of a complete boxer than Marquez, and I just see Pacquiao avenging that terrible loss."
