The latest "Avengers 2" spoilers were about Ultron and it was confirmed that James Spader will play the character. The 54-year old actor was known for his role in "Pretty in Pink" and "Secretary" when he was younger, but he started to switch into television. He has starred in popular TV series "The Practice", "Boston Legal", "The Office", and "The Blacklist".
Fans are excited to see James Spader portray the villain because he is a really good actor, but there could be more than one actor doing Ultron. JoBlo.com reported, "Three version of Ultron will be featured in the upcoming Marvel film - including his original state and a continuously upgrading version."
The website added, "The villain, who must be stopped by the assembly of superheroes, will be played by James Spader, who appeared in the sci-fi blockbuster film Stargate as Egyptologist Daniel Jackson." Now the question is who else will star as Ultron?
The most recent "Avengers 2" spoilers pointed to "The Lord of the Rings" actor Andy Serkis, who is known for his role as Gollum. During an interview with Variety, the 50-year old actor revealed that he will be the consultant of the motion-capture effects and will also be making an appearance in the Age of Ultron.
Serkis said, "The Imaginarium is the performance capture consultant, and I'm playing a role (in both films). On The Avengers, I've been working closely with Mark Ruffalo." When he was asked if he will be doing motion-capture just like he did for Gollum or will be physically acting, Serkis tried not to reveal too much "Avengers 2" spoilers.
The British actor said, "I'm not at liberty to mention. But it's all the same to me. I've never drawn a distinction when playing a role, whether it be live action or performance capture. Acting is acting. It's just basically what you wear to the set that's different."
I guess all we have to do is wait for the producers and director to reveal the official "Avengers 2: Age of Ultron" spoilers soon to see what Andy Serkis' role will be.
