According to X17, Shia LaBeouf has been seen checking into a private rehab facility. The star was spotted driving from his home in the Hollywood Hills to a treatment center that has been popular with actors who needed help.

Arriving at the treatment facility, a nurse and security guard met Shia and took him inside.

The actor had arrived home in Los Angeles on Sunday and kept a low profile.

This is following the incident last week, June 25, the Broadway show Cabaret, where the actor was led out in handcuffs by police.

Witnesses say that he was smoking inside the theater, shouting, harassing audience members, and even eating a strawberry out of a woman's plate. At the police station, the former Transformers star started yelling obscenities at the law enforcers and spitting on them, prompting the cops to put him in a face mask.

LaBeouf was charged with disorderly conduct, criminal trespass and harassment. He was released Friday morning June 27.

This arrest is the latest in the series of troubles and strange behavior from the 28-year old actor.

In 2005, he was arrested by Los Angeles police after he threatened to drive into a neighbors car, and later showed up at the said neighbor's house carrying a knife. In 2007, he got into trouble at a Chicago Walgreens after refusing to leave the place after security requested him to.

Earlier in the year, he was involved in a London bar brawl were LaBeouf was caught on camera headbutting a man. LaBeouf was also said to have plagiarized a Daniel Clowes graphic novel, using it in his short film "HowardCantour.com"

In previous interviews the young actor has admitted that his behavior has been due to "intoxication." In fact, in 2011 he told Parade that he was an "alcoholic." Reports have also surfaced that the actor was spotted frequenting Alcoholics Anonymous meetings in Los Angeles and New York.
