Germany Relentless over Win VS Algeria

Round 16 of the FIFA World Cup signals the start of the second phase for the players of Germany and Algeria as they commenced their duel during a cloudy afternoon in Estádio Beira-Rio, Porto Alegre. Germany won over Algeria on a final score of 2-1. Scores only started flying right after the end of the full time and an extra time has been given until the 120+1 minute.

It was a long and tiring day for both teams of Germany and Algeria as they fought hard and strong during their match. The match' full time didn't yield and scores from both the team. The first goal happened during 92nd minute, 2 minutes after the full time ended. The goal was courtesy of Germany's forward André Schurrle. Schurrle manipulated the ball so that will pass through M'Bolhi and into the goal.

The crowd cheered over the first goal of the match. The second goal came from another Germany lad, Mesut Özil. Ozil smashed the ball to the roof of the net from four yards securing a sure win for the Germans at the 120th minute. Through the end Algeria played hard and was still able to secure a goal at the 120+1minute by Algeria's midfielder Abdelmoumene Djabou.

Algeria managed to unnerve Germany throughout the game. They fought a good chance of winning against the German but eventually, their effort was just not good enough.

With regards to Algeria's effort in being able to pass to the knockout stage, here is what Algeria goalkeeper Rais Mbolhi ahs to say "It's true we are part of Algeria football history, we went farther than any other team before." He continued "We have to build upon this performance for the future since we saw that Algeria is able to play on an equal footing at a very high level with other teams."

It was a tough match to finish but Germany was able to survive a team which has a strong defense and a creative offense. Algeria made Germany sweat out and work hard in achieving one feat of their World Cup dream. Germany will be moving forward to the quarter finals and will be facing France right after the latter beat Nigeria in a 2-0 finish.
