Chris Bosh Tells Heat he wants to Exercise Early Termination on his Contract

The Big Three is complete. Chris Bosh has finally decided to terminate his contract with the Miami Heat and become a free agent. This only means that Miami's Big Three are free in the market. This includes LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and of course, Chris Bosh.

It was Chris Bosh's agent, Henry Thomas who delivered the news to Miami Heat owner, Pat Riley. Thomas is also the agent for Dwyane Wade as well as Udonis Haslem.

Bosh still has 2 years and 43 million dollars left for his deal with Miami but he opted to leave it all behind and test the waters on being a free agent.

According to Riley "today we were notified of Chris' intentions to opt-out of his contract." He continued "Chris is one of the most versatile and dynamic big men in this league, and he has been an instrumental key to our championship success over the last four seasons. We look forward to meeting with Chris and his agent in the coming days to discuss keeping him in Miami for many years to come."

It was only last week when the Big Three; James, Wade and Bosh, met and discussed their future.

On the other hand, since three of their highly paid players have opted to become free agents, this will give Pat Riley enough financial flexibility to improve his roster of players. According to James, Heat needs to improve their player line up in order to be able to win another championship.

With this Riley says for his remaining team "From Day One until the end, it was like a Broadway show, It sort of ran out of steam. And we need to retool. We don't need to rebuild. We need to retool. And that's what we're going to do."

The three former Miami Heat players will officially become free agents on July 1. No news yet as to where Bosh will be heading now that he has decided to become a free agent. But who knows, with just the right pitch and a lot of convincing power, all the big three would still remain with Miami Heat and add new players to their lineup.
