While the proposed design for iPhone 6 hasn't been decided yet, mockups have been spreading out with some of the features out of place. This includes the radio windows on the back and on the display. Even the Apple logo has also become a bit of an issue.
New cases for iPhone 6 are coming out in the Far East Asia. Although Nikkei reports mention that the designs are neither final nor accurate. The glass display cover, which is probably made from sapphire, is going to be curved and tapered at the edges. As for the Apple logo, they plan to use it as a window.
The radios will be placed inside the phone like the ones used on the present-generation iPhone. According to the sources, two stripes of glass should be placed at the top and at the bottom of the back shell.
The LED flash, in one of the current mockups, may end up pill-shaped pretty much the same as in the iPhone 5s. There are still questions on why Apple would not agree on this particular design feature, and simply stick on most features that they have. In addition, the report also describes the aesthetics and feel of its case. One notable thing, though, is that Apple is mainly focusing how users would handle the phone in their hands.
Another interesting thing is the tapered display. Previous iPhones featured completely flat glass, while this would give the iPhone 6 a truly redesigned facade.
Apple may be having the new design with this big version, probably the one that does away with the big screen bezel. There are different rumors that the company wants to make it for an early September launch, with some claiming that shipment of first batch will be on September 19. The date remains to be verified. Regardless, it appears that the design as well as the release date are yet to be decided.
