A cheerleader from Texas recently shared photos from her disturbing trip to the wild via Facebook, that caused uproar from thousands of people, particularly animal advocates from all across the globe.

Kendall Jones, 19, went on a hunting spree in Africa, where she took the life of several exotic animals. The teenager then decided to pose with the deceased animals and shared the photos on her Facebook page called "Kendall Takes Wild."

In most photos, Jones wrote a caption and explained what transpired prior to the killing of a particular animal. For instance, in one photo where she posed with a rhino, Jones said that she helped tranquilize the animal in order to get it treated.

Now, thousands of people are petitioning that not only Jones' Facebook page be removed, but also that she be banned from hunting in Africa and other parts of the world, according to WFAA.

As of late, Facebook has taken down some of Jones' photos and now the teenager created a new page in support of her stands, called "Support Kendall."

On the new page, Jones defended her decision to take the life of the exotic animals in Africa and explained that it's part of Africa's culture. However, citizens argued that posing with the dead animals were their biggest concern.

Meanwhile, Jones who is set to host a reality show in 2015, according to her Facebook page, received mean comments on Facebook, according to the Huffington Post.

One person wrote, "I'm a hunter and proud of that. That being said I eat what I shoot and only hunt overpopulated animals that otherwise would starve or get diseased. Trophy hunting majestic and rare animals so you can get paid by the people who sponsor you is sick! Don't make the rest of us look bad with this crap!"
