The Nexus line of smartphones is always revolutionary and innovative. The upcoming Nexus 6 is expected to continue that feat but following the Nexus 5 won't be an easy task. The predecessor is really powerful and the successor will have to offer a lot more if it wants to make a name for itself, which will definitely be worked on.
One way for the Nexus 6 to achieve that feat is by offering the next-gen Android OS. It is identified as the Android 5.0 Lollipop and the Nexus 6 will make a great launch platform for it. As for the Nexus 6's screen size, word has it that it will offer a 5.5" display. This is comparable to the LG G3 but the Korean company has denied any connection with the Nexus brand at the moment.
The Nexus 6 might also be picking up on new technological trends. One of them will be a feature familiar to most smartphone users, the fingerprint scanner, heart rate sensor and QHD screen. Users expect the fingerprint scanner to be the one fitted on the Nexus 6.
The Google Nexus 6 will look to feature a small price tag like its predecessors. Users can expect that to be around the $349 figure. As for the device's release date, the Nexus always appear in October or November.
