FXX has ordered 10 episodes of the half-hour comedy "Man Seeking Woman" starring Jay Baruchel, according to Deadline.com.

The show will premiere in 2015 and stars Eric Andre, Britt Lower and Maya Erskine.

"Man Seeking Woman" will focus on Josh Greenberg, played by Baruchel, a "naïve romantic on a desperate quest for love."

The upcoming FXX show is based on Simon Rich's book "The Last Girlfriend on Earth, Man Seeking Woman." Rich wrote the pilot and is exec producing/showrunning with Jonathan Krisel directing.

Broadway Video will reportedly produce for FX Prods.

FXX's recent pick up of "Man Seeking Woman" has made Simon Rich one of the youngest series creators ever.

"I'm incredibly grateful to Jon Krisel, Jay Baruchel and Broadway Video for bringing my book to life. Most of all, I'm thankful to John Landgraf and his team at FXX, who believed in us from the start at every turn," stated Rich, according to HitFix.

Nick Grad, one of the Presidents of Original Programming at FX Networks and FX Productions, stated, "Simon Rich has delivered a wholly original, hilarious and fantastic view of single life that features an incredible performance from Jay Baruchel. We feel that this is the perfect fit for FXX and are thrilled to pick up the show."
