Ty Murray bull riding cowboy and famous singer Jewel have just decided to end their 16-year relationship. As Jewel has put it, "a thoughtful and tender undoing of ourselves."
Jewel has posted on her blog that Ty Murray bull riding cowboy and herself wanted their divorce "to be nothing less loving than the way we came together. For some time, we have been engaged in a private and difficult, but thoughtful and tender undoing of ourselves. Allowing ourselves the time and space to redefine what we are to each other with love rather than malice."
Jewel and Ty Murray bull riding celebrity have a son together named Kase, who is going to turn three years later this month. No information has been provided regarding who gets full custody of their son.
According to the singer, they decided to part ways from one another "so that we may take on our new form: dear friends and devoted co-parents of our beloved son. Who better as ally, while we learn to redraw ourselves in whatever new shape we find as separate people who are still striving to be the best versions of ourselves - as humans and as parents."
To date, there still has been no actual confirmation on the reason why the celebrity couple decided to have a divorce. However, Jewel admits that both of them felt "tragically" stifled within their marriage. She said, "We truly believe we can find greater happiness apart than together, and this is why we are taking the enormous heart-braking step of divorce."
Jewel has been seen on the show, "The Sing-Off" as a judge, while Ty Murray bull riding personality was a former contestant at the highly acclaimed competition, "Dancing with the Stars." Murray was also the host of CMT's "Ty Murray's Celebrity Bull-Riding Challenge." The couple met in 1999 and has eloped in 2008.
