Brazil National Team seems to be having a hard time coping up with the pressure that they are put into having been able to land a spot in the quarterfinals at their own hometown.

This is the reason why Brazil's head Coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has ask for a favor from sports psychologist Regina Brandao for extra sessions with his players. She has been working with the Brazilian coach for more than 20 years now.

Brandao made an unscheduled and urgent visit to Brazil's training camp as the team has been feeling anxious and stressed out after their game against Chile. The national team has been seen crying during their national anthem as well as after the games which includes star Neymar, goalkeeper Julio Cesar, David Luiz and Captain Thiago Silva all seen crying. The psychologist held a meeting with the players in a group together with the technical team. She did not speak to them individually.

According to her "The visit formed part of our initial planning. I have classes and I couldn't be here for long" She added ""I speak constantly with the players. We speak to each other on WhatsApp, we speak on the phone, we communicate by email."

A lot has been speculating if the team is psychologically capable enough to bring home the golden boot. Fans are genuinely concerned when star forward Neymar cried during the national anthem at their match against Croatia.

According to technical director Carlos Alberto Parreira "They cry during the national anthem, they cry at the end of extra-time, they cry before and after the penalties."

World Cup legend Zico said that the team's emotional outburst may affect the team's chances in performing well during their matches. He said "There's a lack of focus during the game, which can hurt Brazil. There are players who get emotional and forget the game. They need to have more control."

While Carlos Alberto, Brazil's World Cup captain in 1970 seems distraught over the teams tears during their games "The team is crying when they're singing the anthem, when they get hurt, when they shoot penalties! Come on... Stop crying! Enough!"

Scolari defended his team saying that they are a group of young players and that even their 234 year old goalkeeper, Cesar has every right to show his emotions, he said "I never hid that I am an emotional person. This match proves that if you have a dream you must chase it."
