Fourth Of July Movies: Independence Day 2014 is expected to be wet and soggy. Times Reported that Hurricane Arthur creep up July 4 weekend for many as it continue to accumulate strength as it moves northeast up the Eastern Seaboard.
Plans to go out may be spoiled but celebrating Fourth of July may continue as you dig on some patriotic movies. LA Times listed films that can remind you of how great America is.

1. 'Captain America: The First Avenger' | 2011
According to Wikipedia, the film is set predominantly during World War II, the film tells the story of Steve Rogers, a sickly man from Brooklyn who is transformed into super-soldier Captain America to aid in the war effort.
2. 'John Adams' |2008
According to LA Times, this Golden Globe and Emmy-winning TV miniseries about our second president, John Adams (Paul Giamatti), and his role in establishing the United States starts with the Boston Massacre and ends with his death on July 4, 1826.
3. 'National Treasure'|2004
Benjamin Franklin Gates descends from a family of treasure-seekers who've all hunted for the same thing: a war chest hidden by the Founding Fathers after the Revolutionary War. Ben's close to discovering its whereabouts, as is his competition, but the FBI is also hip to the hunt according to IMDb.
4. 'Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde'|2003
LA Times recounted Elle Woods, played by Reese Witherspoon (right), goes to Washington, on behalf of her pup Bruiser. The Harvard law grad takes on the Capitol as an aide for congresswoman Victoria Rudd (Sally Field, left) to work on a bill that will end animal testing.

According to Wikipedia, this movie is set during the American Revolution in 1776, Benjamin Martin (Mel Gibson), a veteran of the French and Indian War and widower with seven children, is called to Charleston to vote in the South Carolina General Assembly on a levy supporting the Continental Army. Fearing war against Great Britain, Benjamin abstains. Captain James Wilkins (Adam Baldwin) votes against and joins the Loyalists. A supporting vote is nonetheless passed and against his father's wishes, Benjamin's eldest son Gabriel (Heath Ledger) joins the Continental Army.
