Both the Google Nexus 5 and the Apple iPhone 5C are two smartphones that are akin to one another. Both devices are built with value for money in mind and they also came with a variety of colours to choose from. However, the Nexus 5 is far better than its iPhone counterpart.
Costing at a cheaper price of $365, the Nexus 5 comes with a perfectly sized 4.95" LCD screen that offers 445ppi. This is superior to the iPhone 5C 4" Retina display that produces only 326ppi.
Under the hood, the Nexus 5 runs on the 2.26GHz Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB RAM, 8MP rear camera, 1.3MP front shooter and 2,300mAh battery. The specs on the Nexus 5 are so powerful that it is able to rival high-end smartphones like the iPhone 5S, Galaxy Note 3 and many more.
This isn't the case for the iPhone 5C. The supposedly mid-tier iPhone runs on a 1.2GHz dual-core Apple A6 processor with 1GB RAM, 8MP rear camera and 1.2MP front shooter. The battery on the 5C is somewhat disappointing as it is only 1,560mAh big.
All in all, the Nexus 5 is the obvious winner of the two. Even when on the sales chart, the iPhone 5C is by far the worst device from Apple's inventory.
