Manny Pacquiao news features Paulie "Magic Man" Malignaggi's Twitter posts about "Pacman's" choice of avoiding the pre-fight drug tests stipulated by Floyd Mayweather during the height of their negotiations to fight.

The former WBA welterweight champion criticized the Filipino boxer for not submitting himself to the tests.

"I don't give credit to guys who hide and duck from random drug testing while accomplishing things that seem pretty amazing," Malignaggi said of the Manny Pacquiao news.

Manny Pacquiao has gained a level of infamy for not allowing himself to undergo an Olympic-style drug test, wherein the collection of blood samples are part of the procedure. This was believed to be the main reason behind the failure of making the mega fight against Floyd Mayweather.

"I have already agreed to the testing and it is a shame that he is not willing to do the same. It leaves me with great doubt as to the level of fairness I would be facing in the ring that night," Floyd Mayweather Jr. said in a 2009 interview with ESPN.

Paulie Malignaggi, on the other hand, believes that a fighter of "Pacman's" stature should lead by example.

"This sport needs to be take in the right direction and a guy with his popularity should have been the first one to set the example and volunteer for it," he added about the Manny Pacquiao news.

Manny Pacquiao's accomplishments in the sport of boxing are almost second to none. He has won world titles in eight different weight classes, a feat achieved by no other fighter in the sport's history.

Along the way, he has beaten the most reputable and skilled fighters, such as Erik Morales, David Diaz, Marco Antonio Barrera, Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Miguel Cotto, and Shane Mosley, just to name a few.

But for Paulie Malignaggi, these endeavors of "Pacman" are not worthy of any praise.

"Paq should have been the first to volunteer for those random tests when he was destroying people while constantly jumping weight classes," he continued about the Manny Pacquiao news. "Instead he ducked and dodged them so no, until I see a destructive Paq performance for a fight in which he submitted to random testing I will not give that credit."
