Lea Michele Twitter Hacked; Pregnancy Rumors Squashed

Celebrities have continuously fallen victim getting their social media accounts hacked and tampered with.

The most recent celebrity to fall victim was "Glee" star Lea Michele; the hacker decided to fool fans and media outlets with shocking news on Friday.

"Before this gets out to the media, I would like to announce to my fans that I am pregnant #BabyBoy," said the message.

A few hours later, Lea Michele made sure to shut down any pregnancy rumors on her Twitter account, confirming that she had not made that all-too-surprising post.

"I was HACKED! Guess @chriscolfer and I should have known better then to make our passwords the name of our cats," tweeted Michele, according to NY Daily News.

Yes, Michele wasn't the only cast member of "Glee" to get her Twitter account hacked. Co-star Chris Colfer also got hacked this week as well.

"Due to personal issues, I have been let go from the cast of GLEE. Explanations will come shortly," a fake tweet had stated, according to MTV.com.

Like Michele, Colfer also tried to make light of the situation by responding, "Apparently I missed quite the INTERESTING day while aboard my flight. I'm just glad I wasn't 'killed by a fruit truck' again," the actor wrote on Thursday night.
