Brazil World Cup 2014 Predictions: Brazil Coach Scolari Believes They Can Defeat Germany Even Without Neymar

Brazil Coach Luiz Felipe Scolari is fully convinced that they can overcome Germany even without his talisman, Neymar.

"Neymar has done his share. Now it's up to us to do our share," the coach said.

The 22-year-old Neymar has been quite the hope of the nation for a while, Brazil's performance throughout the World Cup were mediocre, but this upcoming test against the Europans will surely grill their teamwork.

"We have accepted what has happened and we are focusing on other things.

Neymar is now suffering from a broken vertebra after Juan Zuniga of Colombia reportedly kneeled him. However, Fifa did not even give the Colombian a suspension. Neymar, on the other hand, will miss the rest of the World Cup.

"In this match we will be playing not just for ourselves [and] everything we've ever dreamed of, but also for Neymar and everything he's done for us."

Also, the team would have to work without captain Thiago Silva, as he was presented with a yellow card in the same match.

However, the Brazil coach would not reveal who would replace Neymar, saying: "I know the starting line-up and when they walk on the field you will see why I made those choices." But most fans think it will be Willian.

"I will tell the Brazilian people that we are doing our best and doing what we think is necessary - all of us. Sometimes this is not in a very beautiful way but we're moving forward one step at a time towards the final."

"We will miss Neymar but we have a team who can overcome the difficulties and go into the final. We will play for us, for Neymar, for our population but above all we will go after the goal this group had had since the beginning - to play in the World Cup final at home," added the coach.
