Pat Riley makes First Move to Keep LeBron James

It seems like Miami Heat President Pat Riley is not taking everything up to chances when it comes to his number one player, LeBron James. It may seem like Riley confident that Heat's Big Three; LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, will still remain loyal to the team, he has decided to make the first move in meeting with the James.

When James will be meeting Riley, his agent Rich Paul will also be with him. It has also been reported that Paul has met with other franchises such as Cleveland Cavaliers, Phoenix Suns, Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Lakers to discuss matters about James.

Riley will meet James a day before the free agents would be able to sign new contracts. Also, James will be in Las Vegas for his annual Nike elite high school basketball camp that begins Wednesday.

But before the Heat President made arrangements to meet with James, he made sure that he had reach a deal with forward Josh McRoberts as well as power forward Danny Grangerin order to make the needed team addition that would improve Miami Heat's roster of players. The addition will show that Riley is making an effort to vamp up the team's lineup which is what James was looking for.

But Riley will be in deep water when it comes to signing back Chris Bosh. He may be able to provide Bosh a big contract, but he is being challenged by the Houston Rockets. Rockets have offered up a maximum-level contract to Bosh for him to sign up to the team. They have also lured Bosh to join Rockets with Dwight Howard as well as James Harden as well as hoping to convince Carmelo Anthony to sign up as well.

Riley is making big gestures just to convince his stars to stay with him. He knows that there is a lot of competition going around for the big three and that he needs to make sure that he would still be able to keep them within reach. A lot of talks ahs been going around with regards to James free agency options but for now, no one really knows where James would land.
