The final episode of the SBS drama "Doctor Stranger" offered happy endings and higher ratings, ending in first place.

The last episode of the medical espionage drama rated 12.5 percent, an increase of 1.6 percent from the day before. With a few cliff-hanging moments, all the tensions of the past episodes were safely and happily resolved. With the life of the president ensured, the drama's finale focused on dissolving the tensions that kept the two main couples apart. Doctors Park Hoon, played by Lee Jong Suk, and Han Seung Hoon, played by Jin Se Yeon, were reunited and planned to spend the rest of their lives together. The revenge-driven Han Jae Hoon, played by Park Hae Jin, revealed his past to his former fiancée, played by Kang Sora, and she forgave him.

Next week, "Doctor Stranger" will be replaced by "Temptation," starring Kwon Sang Woo and Choi Ji Woo.

"Triangle," the drama starring Lee Bum Soo, Kim Jaejoong and Im Si Wan, saw the three brothers getting closer to a reunion. But, as the drama will be extended by two episodes, there may be more mysteries to reveal. The romance between the characters Heo Young Dal, played Kim Jaejoong, and Oh Jung Hee, played by Baek Jin Hee, has also escalated resulting in a kiss. But as the lovers draw even closer, their relationship creates more friction between the brothers who both love her. And although Jung Hee chooses Heo Young Dal over Yoon Yang Ha, it is her relationship with the latter that winds up getting her fired from her dream job.

The remaining six episodes may very well include the brothers teaming up to take on the villains who killed their father. Together they will be unbeatable. However, the resolution of the romantic rivalry between Young Dal and Yang Ha may not be so simple. Both brothers have loved Jung Hee for a long time.

Having wooed and won over viewers, the drama is now solidly in second place, rating 9.5 percent.

In third place is "Trot Lovers," starring Ji Hyun Woo, Jung Eun Ji and Shin Sung Rok. Two of the most entertaining parts of this drama are the lively trot performances by A Pink's Jung Eun Ji and Shin Sung Rok's sweet, slightly goofy character. His entertainment agency CEO is so endearing it might be easy for viewers to forget that his last role was playing a sociopath in "You Who Came From The Stars."

"Trot Lovers" earned a respectable 7.2 percent of the ratings.
