Robin Thicke's wife is not pleased with his new album "Paula," and there might be a slim to no chance of reconciliation anytime soon.

And people are literally not buying Thicke's "please let's get back together" tactic with his new album too. "Paula" has only sold a sad 530 copies in the UK since it hit stands this week.

This is a considerable defeat since Thicke's "Blurred Lines" debuted at number one on the UK and Scottish Album charts during its July 2013 release. Not to mention the 25,981 copies it sold during its first week.

Robin Thicke's new album dedicated to estranged wife Paula Patton has also failed to capture Canada, where it only sold 550 copies according to Nielsen Soundscan.

It seems that Thicke's strategy to get his wife back through his music is a failure, and comes across as insincere for many. Despite great promotional and marketing efforts, the new album has not garnered the emotional appeal it has hoped for.

Not to mention, his efforts on Twitter backfired when he started a Q&A chat for his fans. All Thicke got asked was questions about cheating, and tweets accusing him of misogyny.

"I actually have no idea what I'm doing. I'm just kinda flying by the seat of my pants on this one," said Thicke on an interview on Good Morning America.

"I just wanted to make something artistic out of a very difficult period."

Robin Thicke and wife Paula knew each other way back in their teens. They got married in 2005 and have a four-year-old son together. Paula dumped him in February because of infidelity issues.
