Elisabeth Hasselbeck And Rosie O’Donnell Feud Continues

The drama between Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Rosie O'Donnell has yet to end.

Hasselback, who was a co-host on "The View" for 10 years before she joined "Fox & Friends," recently shared her thoughts on Rosie O'Donnell's return to the ABC talk show, according to E! News.

"I think this has been in the works for a long time," stated Hasselebeck.

She continued, "I know Rosie very well. We worked quite closely. Talk about not securing the border! Here in comes to 'The View' the very woman who spit in the face of our military, spit in the face of her own network, and really in the face of a person who stood by her and had civilized debates for the time that she was there, coming back with a bunch of control ready to regain a seat at 'The View' table."

Elisabeth Hasselbeck's comments caught the attention of Joy Behar as well as the public.

"I thought that was really kind of below-the-belt, to say she spits in the face of the military. I would like Elisabeth to explain herself," Behar told CNN's Don Lemon.

Behar added, "What does she mean by that? And isn't it kind of a nasty thing to say about somebody who basically is a good person? That's a dangerous thing to say about somebody. I think it's a hate-filled remark."

O'Donnell has been responding to comments made by fans on Twitter regarding Hasselbeck's statements. Despite Hasselback's remarks, social media users have clearly been welcoming the reported return of Rosie O'Donnell to "The View."

Twitter user Dave Macekura wrote, "@Rosie was a true progressive voice on the view during a very non-progressive time in our country. Soooo glad you're back."

Rosie commented, "Thank you Dave."
