A four-year-old Russian Blue is the most recent cat to make headlines by attacking its owners.

Kush was quarantined in Central Florida after her owner called 911 saying that the cat had her trapped in her home, according to Reuters.

"I can't get out. She's got us trapped in our bedroom," Teresa Gregory told the emergency police dispatcher, according to the record of the call.

50-year-old Gregory stated, "She's just sitting outside my bedroom door right now. We don't know what to do."

The owners of the cat reportedly told the dispatcher that their pet had been behaving badly earlier in the day so the feline was locked in the bathroom for a while.

Gregory mentioned that she might have accidently stepped on the cat, sparking the aggressive behavior that soon followed.

The cat had also shown signs of aggressive behavior when she was taken to the vet about six months ago to get shots, WKMG reported.

"I took her to the vet about six months ago to get everything done and they called me and told me to come get her because she freaked out on them, and they wouldn't (treat) her," Gregory stated, according to CBS News.

Kush the cat reportedly "freaked out" on her owners once she was released from the bathroom, hissing and scratching them.

Gregory and her husband were reportedly bleeding from scratches to their arms and legs.

The cat had shown no signs of rabies so far, according to Michelle Realander at the Deland animal control office. The Gregorys have reportedly indicated that they might want to find a new home for Kush.

"I don't know what's wrong with her. I love this cat to death," Gregory had told the dispatcher.
