Jennifer Lopez is taking the selfie game to another level.
On Thursday, the "I Luh Ya Papi" singer seized her chance to take a photo with U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama at the League of United Latin American Citizens' National Convention for the Empowerment of Latinos in New York.
The singer posted the image on Twitter, with the caption: "ME and my girl @FLOTUS at #LULAC national convention for the empowerment of Lations. #represent #dreambig [sic]."
Mrs. Obama attended the convention to give a speech, following an introduction from Lopez. The two then shared a warm embrace on stage.
The convention was held at the Hilton in midtown New York. There, according to the LULAC's website, Lopez and the First Lady of the United States addressed 1,500 Latino leaders at the luncheon. An estimated 20,000 more people are expected to join in the four-day convention.
After the luncheon, Lopez hosted a private screening of her Nuvo TV series, Los Jets, according to E! News. The documentary delves into the stories of a high school soccer team made up of mainly Latino immigrants. The series is set in a small southern town, where the players train amidst adversity.
Lopez's daughter, 6-year-old Emme joined her mother at the convention to meet the first lady.
The mother and daughter were clad in near identical outfits, according to Mail Online.
The 44-year-old American Idol judge wore a high-waist peplum pencil skirt and a pale pink long-sleeved top with white floral embroidery, while her mini-me wore a shiny blush pleated skirt with matching peplum top. The two completed their looks with handbags in pale pink colors.
