Minnesota Timberwolves are having their eye focused on 25 year old Evan Turner. Free agent, Evan is with Indiana Pacers but the Timberwolves are interested in signing him on a one year deal.

Turner averaged just 7.1 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game for the Pacers, shooting 41 percent from the field. Turner was drafted 2nd overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2010 NBA and had played for them up to early 2014 until he was traded to the Indiana Pacers in February 2014. Before he was traded to the Pacers, he had much better stats as he averaged 17.4 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 54 games last season.

Turner and Lavoy Allen were traded off to the Indiana Pacers in exchange for Danny Granger and a second-round draft pick. Turner started playing for the Pacers in Feb 25 and has scored 13 points and added 6 rebounds as part of the Pacers bench. Also, he accumulated 23 points which helped the team win against Milwaukee Bucks in April 6.

Turner had a falling out with another Pacers free agent Lance Stephenson which ended in a fist fight during a team practice on April 21. This happened on the eve of the team's second game of the first round of the 2014 NBA Playoffs.

Turner is a multi-talented player being able to play as point guard, shooting guard and small forward positions. Although his averages have decreased during his transfer to the Pacers, it seems like Timberwolves is seeing a potential in Turner.

Aside from Minnesota, the Cavaliers are also targeting Turner for their team. But so far, there are still no pitch made. Most likely because both teams are still preoccupied with other players that they are coveting to sign up but most definitely, when the tides had cleared, they will have Turner in their list.

Although Turner had a bumpy NBA season last year, fans are still hopeful that he would be able to turn the tables around and excel in the next team that he would be signed in. Turner has a lot of potential in such a young age and he still has a lot to offer to the league.
