"You Are Surrounded" Eun Dae Goo rejected the request of his birth father Shin Ji Il (played by Lee Ki Young) to do a DNA test.
On the 18th episode of SBS Wednesday/Thursday drama "You Are Surrounded" (director Yoo In Shik, Lee Myung Woo, script Lee Jung Sun) broadcast on July 10th, Shin Ji Il apologized to Eun Dae Goo for pushing his wife Yoo Ae Yeon (played by Moon Hee Kyung) to Kim Hwa Young (played by Kim Hee Jung)'s death.
Shin Ji Il was careful to ask his consent to the DNA paternity testing. Nonetheless, Eun Dae Goo replied, "Director Shin, the reason I went to see you is not to investigate what relationship we have but to find out why Yoo Ae Yeon had to kill my mom. That was the reason - to find out the truth behind the motivation for murder." He therefore rejected him outright, leaving Shin Ji Il at a loss for words.
Meanwhile, "You Are Surrounded" is a growth novel and romance investigative drama with the background as the Gangnam Police Department and has four newbie police officers and a veteran police sheriff. It is ranking number one among similar timed dramas on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
