Despite the cancellation of the José Aldo vs. Chad Mendes rematch, both fighters are still engaging in a verbal battle. This time "Junior" responds to "Money's" previous remarks.

Most recently, Chad Mendes made his own statements regarding José Aldo, who had to pull out of their scheduled fight due to an injury. The challenger and Team Alpha Male representative aired out his thoughts during Monday's edition of The MMA Hour.

"Jose Aldo can't run from me forever," he declared talking about the José Aldo vs. Chad Mendes rematch. "This fight's going to happen and I'm going to take the belt from him."

The reigning UFC 145-pound champion responded to his challenger's statements in an interview with Brazilian website Combate. There, he also questioned Chad Mendes' training regimen.

"Maybe I have so many injuries because I'm not taking the same 'supplements' you take," Aldo said. "I have injuries because I train a lot to beat you like I did last time, and I think you remember that and still have nightmares about it."

"I did all the medical exams I had to do, but if you're a doctor now, I can send them so you can take a look," he added. "Maybe you can prescript one of your supplements so I can heal faster."

The José Aldo vs. Chad Mendes rematch may possibly be moved to UFC 179 in October at the champion's home country of Brazil in Rio de Janeiro. It was a stipulation that "Money" was displeased about.

"I went there the first time, he has to come here to fight me this time," Mendes said. "I do not want to fight in Brazil. I think its fair that he has to come here."

The champion, not to be outdone, has also responded to this statement.

I fought your coach in your home (Sacramento), fought at Mark Hominick's home in front of 55,000 fans, I fought in Japan and Europe," Aldo responded. "And now you tell me you want to be the champion? A champion doesn't choose opponents or where the fight is going to be.

"And now I ask you, who's the real pu--y?" he added.
