Brazil has faced their worst nightmare-a loss of 3-0 against the Netherlands in the third-place match on Saturday. The expectation of a victory for the host team was instantly invisible within the initial two minutes of the game. In just those initial minutes, Thiago Silva sidestepped Arjen Robben's move at the corner of the field.

As Silva scored a win over Robben, the Dutch player only got a yellow card for foul penalty. Robin Van Persie pitched in the penalty perfectly, kicking past Julio Cesar in the top spot of the field.

During the 16th minute, the host team were already in a 2-0 score against the Dutch. David Luiz and Jonathan de Guzman kicked the ball past the Brazilians straight to Dutch defender, Daley Blind. Blind then, wasted no time and opportunity in getting through Julio Cesar.

Netherlands immediately scored a two-goal victory against the Brazilians in the initial part of the match. Netherlands truly made Brazil unwise through their clever moves.

Brazilian midfielder Oscar was sombre, as he was quoted as saying:

"It's a terrible feeling; I don't know what to say"

"After a huge loss to Germany, today we tried our best from the beginning to win third place, but it wasn't our day. We have to see what went wrong so we can improve for the future."

On the other hand, victorious Wijnaldum of Netherlands joyously had this to say:

"The most beautiful was our resilience," Wijnaldum said. "We were knocked out, but we came back and finished third. We wanted to close it out well."
