Which of these smartphones is the ideal purchase for consumers? Will it be the Nokia Lumia 1520, the LG G Flex, or the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
In terms of design and display, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is equipped with a Super AMOLED Full HD touch screen that measures 5.7 inches, which can render a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and it showcases a pixel density of 386 pixels-per-inch. Nokia Lumia 1520 has a larger IPS LCD Full HD touch screen that measures 6 inches. It renders the same resolution of 1080 x 1920, but it comes with a slightly inferior pixel density of 367 pixels-per-inch. The LG G Flex has a 6 inches touch screen as well, which is a Curved Plastic OLED HD model and renders a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
For the hardware and OS, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a quad core processor working at 2.3 GHz which is paired up with a Snapdragon 800 chipset from Qualcomm. It runs on the Android Jelly Bean 4.3.
The Nokia Lumia 1520 is a quad core working at 2.2 GHz that is also paired with a Snapdragon 800 chipset from Qualcomm and it comes with Adreno 330 graphics chip. The Nokia device runs on the Windows Phone 8 Black.
The LG G Flex has a quad core processor working at 2.26 GHz. The chipset that comes along is the same as the other two have: the Snapdragon 800 from Qualcomm and the has Adreno 330 GPU same as the Nokia device. The Lg smartphone runs on the Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2.
For battery usage and camera specs, the LG G Flex has the best battery among the three with a capacity of 3500 mAh. The Nokia Lumia 1520 is equipped with a Li-Ion battery that has a capacity of 3400 mAh and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 ha a 3200mAh Li-Ion battery unit.
All three smartphones have great specs when it comes to the camera. Regarding the primary camera, the Nokia Lumia 1520 has the best camera of 20MP, nest to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the LG G Flex which both have 13MP main cameras.
For the secondary camera, the LG G Flex has the adavantage among the three smartphones having a 2.1MP one, followed by the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 which is a 2MP one and lastly the Nokia Lumia 1520 with a 1.2MP front-facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 supports 3GB of RAM, which is more than what the other two are offering, as well as three options for internal storage: 16GB, 32GB and 64GB (expandable by up to 64 GB via microSD card). The Nokia Lumia 1520 on the other hand has a 2GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM (expandable up to 64 GB via microSD card) and finally the LG G Flex comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage capacity.
LG G Flex cost around $493.93, while the Nokia Lumia 1520 is around $463.99 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (32 GB) is around $539.99.
