Kiss Tour 2014: American Rock Band Takes Show To Las Vegas; Hard Rock Hotel Will Host Nine Show Of Gene Simmons And The Gang

Kiss is coming to Las Vegas. The band is scheduled to be regularly playing in Sin City starting this November, according to reports by USA Today. The rock band, which celebrates its 40 years in the business will be rocking Las Vegas with nine performances starting on November 5. Fans can watch them live at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

Aside from its anniversary, the rock band also made history this year as they were officially inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last April.

Other notable acts that have performed in The Joint include such big names in the rock industry, such as Santa, Guns N' Roses, and Def Leppard.

In their interview with USA Today, guitarist Paul Stanley promised audiences that the Kiss show will be unlike anything they had ever seen from the band.

Kiss' booking by The Hard Rock hotel was a year in the making.. "The activation will encompass the entire property for the month they're out here - from the performances onstage to wrapping the hotel with Kiss stuff to having team members wearing Kiss shirts," The hotel's vice president, Chas Smith said.

The band, which was formed in New York in the 70s are famous for their face paint and elaborate stage get-ups. They started gaining a following starting in the 1970s, with audiences attracted by their flamboyant live shows which included fire breathing, smoking guitars, and plenty of pyrotechnics.

Their albums have been going gold since 1978, and to date, they have 28 gold albums, putting them on the top of the list of American rock bands. More than 100 million records have been sold by Kiss worldwide, and they are considered one the best-selling bands in the world of all time.

The band has also had a successful run in its tours. Since the year 200o, Kiss' tour shave amassed aroudn $200 million, with over three million tickets sold.
