The "Modern Family" actress weighed in on the swirling reports that her co-star Sofia Vergara has found new love in the form of Joe Manganiello, joking that there was "a genetic explosion" between the good-looking pair.

"You know it almost is like a genetic explosion and there might not be enough diversity in the gene pool because they are just too good looking," Bowen told ET Canada. "But ya know, God bless her, she's amazing and if he's nice to her, I am all for it."

The 44-year-old actress said she has yet to meet the "True Blood" hunk.

"I saw him, certainly, and he does not hurt my eyes," Bowen said.

Vergara recently snapped in a cozy pose with Manganiello during a dinner at Nobu Malibu for the actress's 42nd birthday. The photo was posted by Vergara's niece, Claudia Vergara, on Instagram and instantly fueled reports that the two celebrities are dating.

A day later, the pair was spotted together on a solo date in West Hollywood, according to E! News. The gorgeous stars were seen entering the Soho House, where they enjoyed a late dinner of pizza.

The Colombian vixen and the 37-year-old actor first met at the White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington, D.C., earlier this year. Vergara attended the event with her then fiancé, Nick Loeb, but the engaged couple broke things off shortly after.

Meanwhile, Manganiello told People magazine about his crush on Vergara.

"I love a butt. Sofía Vergara, that's it. She's got that Latin thing going. She's got curves, she's got a beautiful face, beautiful hair, just gorgeous. And she's feisty!" he said.
