Recently, there was an announcement that a new television series will be based on 'The Omen'.
ScienceFiction said recently that the 1976 movie The Omen will be remade. However, the post didn't mentioned any target date or year of movie release.
The Omen was also remade in 2006, and directed by John Moore. The stars were Julia Stiles, Liev Schreiber, Mia Farrow, David Thewlis,Pete Postlethwaite, Michael Gambon, and Seamus Davey-Fitzpatrick.
If you watched the 1976 The Omen, the story focuses on young Damien Thorn who is adopted by a couple who is politically connected and belongs to wealthy family.
As the kid grows up, each scene shows how he comes up into a very smart, powerful, but creepy little kid.
In the story, the kid owes the trait of his real father and soon. In the climax, it would reveal that Damien is an anti-Christ.
The writer of the same post said that it seems that the Twentieth Century Fox is going to be working with Platinum Dunes for their reboot of the series.
No official statements yet on who will be the director and the stars for the remake of The Omen.
