Russia World Cup 2018 Predictions: Early Odds For WC 2018; Germany Expected To Exit Early, Brazil Will Make Grand Comeback

It is still a tad too early to predict for the World Cup 2018, but anyone can dream about their final four line up, after this World Cup in Brazil ended so successfully (well, except for the Brazil team, themselves).

Anyway, here are some predictions and odds for the upcoming World Cup 2018 in Russia.

Germany: As for any European champion, the consecutive year will always be bad luck. Even though Germany did so well on this World Cup, with thanks to their awesome teamwork, I still hold on that they will be immediately eliminated just in the group stages. It's a curse. It's unexplainable- it's just how it is.

Argentina: In four years' time, Lionel Messi will be 31. Sure he could still be playing for Argentina by that time as their captain, but it is difficult to see him as their talisman at that age. He may be lacking magic by the time of Russia's dawn, but if he really wants it bad, then maybe he can. Who knows? However, I think they will not reach the final four for the next World Cup.

Brazil: Now, I expect the Selecao to be more ready to fight for the next WC. Now that Scolari is out, there is huge pressure for the next team and coach to redeem their names in the football scene. Neymar will be at his prime, too. So, I believe Brazil can reach the finals.

Netherlands: The Netherlands team were always great, but they always lacked something. Perhaps it's football magic. They will be performing great too for Russia, and surely they can qualify past the group stage.

Who to watch out for: Colombia, Costa Rica, Belgium and USA. These four teams have been surprise winners in their performance for this World Cup. They are expected to reach farther for the 2018 WC in Russia. James Rodriguez is definitely someone to watch out for.

Also, it would be a bet that goalkeepers like Mexico's Guillermo Ochoa, and USA's Tim Howard will save the next tournament.
