The iPhone 6 release date has been confirmed! The iOS 8 powered smartphone is going to be released this September 19, 2014!
The Tech Front Asia has reported that the much anticipated iPhone 6 release date is on September 19.
The International Business Times has reported that along with the iPhone 6 release date announcement comes that fact the the iPhone 6 runs at a dual-core 68-bit A8 chi with 2.0 GHz frequency and that the next-gen smartphone will have "bendable sapphire glass panel"
Apple has confirmed another feature of iPhone 6 called Wi-fi calling.
Apple Insider has revealed that Wi-fi calling is a brand new option which was introduced by the Cupertino-based tech firm on the iOS 8 beta 3. US carrier, T-Mobile, and Rogers of Canada have already confirmed support for the more stable call service.
Youtuber Tom Richardson has created a video to help techies visualize how the iPhone 6, running on the iOS 8 would look like just before the iPhone 6 release date on September 19.
Richardson created a video which projects a developer release of the iOS 8 onto the iPhone 6.
According to the video, since the iPhone 6 will boast of a larger screen compared to previous models, it is highly likely that the iOS 8 will run at a higher resolution, possibly, 1704 x 960 pixels.
