The reunion of the cast of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" might be totally different from what we're expecting.
After it was announced that Phaedra Parks' husband, Apollo Nida, will be facing 8 years in prison, there was speculation that the other RHOA cast members would take the chance to kick her while she's down, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
RHOA star Kenya Moore, who made quite an impression on viewers during the season 6 reunion, surprised us all with a tweet supporting Parks, according to HollywoodLife.com.
"You can't kick someone while they are down even if they fell trying to trip you. Offer than a hand instead. #killthemwithkindness," tweeted Moore.
Moore and Parks have never been able to get close due to the reported rumors that Apollo Nida had cheated on Phaedra with Kenya. It seems that the RHOA cast members have decided to put their differences aside before the reunion for season 7.
Despite her husband being sentenced to 8 years in prison for a $2.3 million-money laundering scheme, Phaedra Parks is reportedly staying strong.
"She's basically working. That's how I deal with things too; when I have a lot going on, I just put more into work," Parks' best friend Kandi told the gossip website.
Kandi added, "I know that she's promoting her book and doing the book tour and stuff like that and she's not really trying to focus as much on what's happening."
Apollo Nida is reportedly hopeful that his wife will stand by him and support him while he serves his time in jail.
"I think Phaedra, in a perfect world, should be supportive as a wife should be. . . But if she chooses to derail from the plan, then that's what she chooses to do. Whatever's been thrown at me, I deal with it. I would like to say I would want her to stay around and do what a wife should do. But tomorrow's not promised," Nida reportedly told Atlanta radio station V-103 in May.
