RHONJ Season 6 Ratings Flop; Teresa Giudice Sentencing Turning Viewers Away?

Season 6 of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" is off to a rocky start.

The season 6 premiere of RHONJ, which aired on Sunday night, received the lowest ever ratings for a premiere episode in the 18 to 49 year old demographic, according to Bravoratings.com.

After the indictments of Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe were announced last August, season 5 of RHONJ reportedly started to post rating declines as viewers turned away from watching "alleged criminals at work," according to the website.

The decision to keep Teresa Giudice on the season 6 cast while firing Caroline Manzo, Jacqueline Laurita and Kathy Wakile was a surprise to viewers, especially after the reported drop in ratings during season 5.

The drama amongst the new and former cast members of the reality television show continues whether people are watching the show or not.

During the premiere of season 6, Jacqueline Laurita's daughter, Ashlee Holmes, posted a photo on Instagram reportedly mocking Dina Manzo's talk about her "Zen" life, according to Allthingsrh.

Manzo responded to a blogger who reposted Holmes' original tweet, saying, "just a hint of why I stay away."

This clearly didn't sit well with Laurita, who decided to tweet a response implying that she would reveal "the truth" about Dina Manzo.

"I advise you not to imply any more 'hints' if you don't want the truth to come out @dinamanzo Enough! My patience is wearing thin. I need to find my center," tweeted Jacqueline Laurita.

She added, "Really? I thought it was bc our fam knows2much u don't want public. I've stayed quiet a long time4my fam. Ashlee shouldn't have said anything, but Dina shouldn't have involved a blogger as if an innocent victim. . . Touchy subject."

Laurita and Manzo have been estranged since Dina's falling out with Caroline Manzo, but nobody knows exactly what happened between the two.
