Dwyane Wade returns to the Miami Heat

Dwyane Wade has finally made his decision and that is he is staying with his current team Miami Heat. His announcement came after LeBron James made headlines after choosing to go back to Cleveland Cavaliers instead of signing a max deal with the Heats as well as Chris Bosh verdict in going back to Miami owning the max deal which was meant for James.

Wades latest deal is designed to give both the player and the franchise flexibility in the next years. He signed a two year contract having the second year of the contract provided with a player option.

According to the statement "'I am proud to have spent every single day of my career as a member of the Miami Heat and to have brought three championship titles to this great city." He continued "I've been here through the good times and the hard times. I have confidence in the Miami Heat organization and the team they are building."

Earlier during Tuesday, Wade tweeted a message together with a photo of himself standing below the three NBA championship banners that hang at Miami's home arena saying "Home Is Where The Heart Is... My Home,My City,My House"

Although the value of the contract was not divulge yet but it is expected that Wade won't have the same salary as rate as his previous contract which is $20.2 million.

Miami Heat President, Pat Riley confirmed Wade's resigning of contract to the franchise saying "Dwyane has been the franchise cornerstone for this team since the day he arrived 11 years ago. He has shown his commitment to the Heat many times over the course of his career and has always been willing to sacrifice in order to help build this team into a champion. This time is no different."

Aside from Wade, the Miami Heat's franchise was also able to sign in Luol Deng to a two-year, $20 million deal.

Riley said "'Luol Deng is one of the most important free agent signings that we have ever had in the history of the franchise. He is a proven All-Star and quintessential team player, both as a scorer, as well as an All-NBA defender. He brings the attitude of a warrior and competes every single night against the very, very best."
