This left the public very unimpressed with their new internet queen. So, she decided to delete the post. She wrote this after: "Hi, I didn't mean to offend anyone...it was a joke. Thanks for understanding."

However, it was too late do undo the damage.

L'Oreal later said: "L'Oreal Professionnel Belgium collaborated with [Despiegelaere] on an ad hoc basis to produce a video for social media use in Belgium. The contract has now been completed." The company also said that they knew about the photo before the signing of the contract.

The seventeen year old Belgian beauty did a commercial (promotional) video for L'Oreal's hair products line, but it has been removed from the company's Facebook page already. It's still on YouTube though.
