Irish, Conor McGregor have high dreams in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. That dream seems understandable for this mixed martial artist as he has become one of the UFC's biggest international star in such a short time.

McGregor has a total of 16 mixed martial fights. In those matches, he had won 14 of them and lost only twice. Among the wins were 12 knockouts with 1 submission and another one ended in a decision.

McGregor is the former CWFC Featherweight Champion and Lightweight Champion, which made him the first professional Irish fighter to hold two world titles in two separate divisions. He is the second fighter from the Republic of Ireland to fight for the company, following welterweight Tom Egan. He is currently ranked #13 in official UFC Featherweight rankings.

Although his popularity growth has skyrocketed, the 26 year old fighter does not seem to mind the attention saying "It doesn't seem surreal. I believed it in when others would not."

In the same MMA Fighting interview he continued "I had that clear, clear vision. I seem to have the habit of predicting the future. I have these visions and they seem to come true. I'm never going to doubt them and no one else should, either."

One of McGregor's big visions includes a championship belt within the year, he said "I have a clear, clear vision that that gold belt is around my waist by the end of the year. By the end of 2014. And, I don't know why but it's clear as day that that belt is wrapped around my waist." He added "I'm coming for all of it. I'm coming for the gold. I'm taking over the game. You just sit back and relax and watch me take over the game."

That's right, before the year ends; McGregor is aiming the 145 pound title. But before he can do that, he would still need to face Diego Brandao on Saturday night in Dublin.

McGregor still has a few months more left before the year ends and his vision of winning a belt will be seen. 5 months of waiting and we will all find out if his visions will come true.
