Mario Gotze's Brother Gets Offer From Bayern Munich, Can He Make A Name For Himself In Premiere League?

Bayern Munich signs 16-year-old Felix Gotze, brother of the lone scorer in the World Cup finals, Germany's Mario Gotze.

The younger Gotze brother moved to Borussia Dortmund for free, unlike his older brother, Mario, who costed Bayern Munich around 37 million euros. Felix's previous team was Allianz Arena, where he played on the under-17 side.

"Felix has left Dortmund for Bayern, that is correct," Michael Tarnat, youth director of Bayern, said to Sport Bild.

Felix will start his Bayern Munich career in the youth team first.

However, he is not the first Gotze to leave Dortmund. Their older brother Fabian signed Mainz in January 2010, while Mario went to Bayern Munich last year.

The oldest Gotze brother, Fabian, is a 24- year- old player for SpVgg Unterhaching in the German third tier.

Felix, on the other hand, is a forward.

Dortmund and Bayern have been long rivals for the past seasons, in the Bundesliga. The scores have been a tie, since Dortmund won in 2011 and 2012, while Bayern Munich won in 2013 and 2014.

The real question remains though: Can the younger Gotze follow his brother's hero of the day act in the World Cup years from now? Also, can Felix join the Germany team on the World Cup for 2018?
