Toni Kroos, who played a key role in Germany's championship match over Argentina during the 2014 World Cup finals, has joined Real Madrid on a six- year- deal.
The 24- year- old German defender also scored two goals during Germany's campaign in the recent World Cup in Brazil.
Now, he left the German club, Bayern Munich to join Real Madrid. His cost was said to be around $34 million.
The World Cup champion said this: "I know that at this club you are expected to win trophies but I'm the right man for that because I'm used to winning.
"I know this is the correct decision and I'm very proud to have made it.
"I cannot think of anything more wonderful than being here. This is the biggest club in the world.
"In 2013 I won the Champions League and in 2014 Real won it, and I hope we can win it again next year. I hope to be able to return the confidence this club has shown in me.'
Nevertheless, his old German team seems okay with Kroos leaving them. It seems like there are no hard feelings.
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Bayern chairman said: "We would like to thank Toni Kroos for his time here in Munich.
"We enjoyed great success here together. We would like to wish him and his family all the best in Madrid and with Real."
Toni Kroos started in Bayern Munich as a 16- year- old player from Hansa Rostock, and he has made 173 Bundesliga appearnces during his stay there.
Then, he has an 18- month stay on loan at the Bayer Leverkusen. When he returned, he won three Bundesliga titles and three German Cup, too.
He was also part of the amazing back- to back -back win of the club in 2012- 2013 when they won the Champions League, Bundesliga title, and the German Cup.
