Eddie Bravo, Royler Gracie's feud has formally ended after the 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu founder personally made peace through the elder Gracie's nephew, Ralek.

In an exclusive interview with Sherdog.com, the grappling legend explained how he finally understood Ralek Gracie's stance, through a fight promoter and event organizer's point of view.

"I ended up doing my own show -- the Eddie Bravo Invitational," Bravo explained. "Now I understand, being the owner of the show, that I am in the exact same position Ralek is in."

"I mean Royler is his uncle, so he had to do some stuff, and above all else he is a part of a family," he added. "I mean, family comes first right?"

The issue that was raised by the 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu representative was the alleged bias of Ralek Gracie, who happens to be the organizer of Metamoris, towards his uncle Royler.

But after the Eddie Bravo,Royler Gracie match at Metamoris 3 in March, the 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu representative says he finally understands the younger Gracie's sentiments.

"I feel where Ralek is coming from because if I let my heart run everything, half of the show would be making 10th Planet look like we were kings of the world," Bravo said. "But then no one would take me seriously; I have to be 100 percent unbiased. Your heart wants to just promote the hell out of your family."

"My family is 10th Planet; Ralek's is the Gracie family, so I am not as hurt as I was initially," he added.

After the Eddie Bravo, Royler Gracie match, Ralek Gracie once again invited the 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu founder to compete at Metamoris 4 this coming August. However, the said invite was declined, but with an explanation.

"Yeah, I don't want to think about any opponents or talk with him about any opponents for a while," Bravo said. "Metamoris [3] was really stressful. I just want to focus on my family, focus on my music, my students, schools and improving the level of jiu-jitsu within the whole association."
