In an interview with GQ, Jack Antonoff can't help but show how much he adores the 24-year old singer. The 30-year old musician said, "Taylor Swift is cool, because she's the closest thing today that hearkens to Michael Jackson-to great, great pop music." Wow! Being compared to the King of Pop is really something.

Antonoff added, "There's a difference between her and Lady Gaga and Katy Perry and Lily Allen and all that. It all feels throwaway, comparatively." Another major compliment is to be compared to some of the hottest female singers today. Is he applying to become Taylor Swift's new boyfriend?

Let's hope he isn't because this will surely break the heart of Lena Dunham, who he is currently dating. The musician started dating the creator of the HBO series "Girls" in 2012. This isn't the first time that Jack Antonoff showered Taylor Swift with compliments.

During an interview with the Associated Press back in 2013, he revealed how the country singer made him become a better musician. Antonoff raved, "She's just like the most incredible writer and singer and performer."

He added, "She feels completely unaffected by all the stuff happening around her, so working with her was like the most amazing experience...It made me better at what I do just watching her process."

Jack Antonoff and the songstress co-wrote the track "Sweeter Than Fiction" for the soundtrack of "One Chance". Maybe what he's trying to imply in that song is to give him one chance to become Taylor Swift's new boyfriend.
