Tim McGraw made a tour stop in Atlanta on Sunday, which ended with him possibly having one less fan.
During the country singer's concert at Aaron's Amphitheatre at Lakewood, Tim McGraw was going around slapping the hands of fans who were able to join him for his tour while performing his 2013 single "Truck Yeah," but things took an ugly turn when a female fan reportedly grabbed onto McGraw's leg, prompting him to reach out at her.
In the video obtained by TMZ, a woman reaches out for McGraw twice before he reportedly slaps her in the face in response.
Tim McGraw's team explained the rather shocking interaction that occurred during his tour.
"At the end of the night during the encore, Tim was singing out in the audience and someone firmly grabbed onto his leg and wouldn't let go as he was moving through the crowd. He instinctively swatted to try and keep them from ripping his jeans (which they succeeded at doing), and so he could get to more fans who were trying to slap hands with him before the end of the show," McGraw's people reportedly told Billboard.
They added, "He didn't know who had grabbed him and was trying to keep his pants from being torn."
A second video that was posted by TMZ confirms that the female fan did indeed rip McGraw's jeans. The singer is also seen saying something to the woman after the damage is done.
The woman was reportedly asked to leave the concert by a security guard.
