Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard wedding is almost a month now but the couple is celebrating married life with simple pleasures. The "19 And Counting" star and her husband are obviously having good times together as newlyweds, since July 21, Jill keep on posting photos of their "wikiversaries" in her social media account from having dinner dates and a bowling outing with her family. The lovely pair seems to enjoy married pleasure in practical ways.
After revealing to People that they spent their honeymoon at Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, and rented a house on the beach, Derick showed off his cooking skills with grilling, picnic and homemade dinner idea photos. Hollywood life reported that this trip was the first time the couple was allowed to be alone together.
"Every morning, we would wake up and go out and sit on the deck and listen to the waves," she says. "It was beautiful. It was very private without a lot of people there yet for the season. It was so relaxing."
Immediately after their honeymoon, the couple settled in to married life. Jill told People that she's learning the art of cooking for only two.
"I love to cook and have been able to do a lot of cooking," she says. "Cooking for two people is a learning experience in and of itself."
Preceding the wedding, the couple's practical approach to life has been apparent with the wedding registry list that they have given. The couple requested for things that they can use every day which includes pliers, screwdrivers, cereals and noodles.
According to US Weekly, the couple requested for normal household paraphernalia and some more unusual requests like cereal, including Raisin Bran, Froot Loops, Hershey's Cookies 'n' Creme, Berry Colossal Crunch, and Fruity Dyno-Bites. They even listed the usual kitchen appliances, a Yamaha keyboard, a digital camera, and two firearms, a 12-gauge shotgun and a Smith & Wesson rifle.
According to Daily Mail, the couple first met in Nepal in November after communicating with one another via email and Skype. They began courting for five months before getting engaged.
