Dwight Howard not Affected by Parsons Absence in Rockets

Houston Rockets' center Dwight Howard does not believe that Chandler Parsons' departure will greatly affect their team's chance of reaching the finals for the next NBA season.

According to the 6'11" Parson "It won't affect us at all." It can be remembered that Dallas Mavericks and Chandler Parsons have mutually agreed to a 3 year $45 million contract. Mavericks is calling the bluff made by Houston Rockets and have agreed to the terms of the restricted free agent and small forward, Chandler Parsons.

Parson, when playing with the Houston Rockets, was a great complement to Howard's game play. But Howard appears to be not bothered by his the formers departure from the team. He said "We have myself and James. We have the best center and the best two guards in the game on the same team. It's on us."

There are also rumors circulating that Howard has been unhappy with the current turn of events in the free agency world. Rockets planned on signing a couple of key free agents, Carmelo Anthony as well as LeBron James, but ended with none of them signing the contract. Reports say that the tie up between Howard and Hardin should have pulled in a couple of strong players but seemed like only the opposite happened.

Aside from losing Parsons, Rockets also let ho of role players Omer Asik, Jeremy Lin and Omri Casspi but was able to acquire veteran forward Trevor Ariza in the process.

For Howard, the team up between he and Hardin would be enough to bring the team to their destination. Other than that, the addition of Trevor Ariza to the Rockets will also give a positive influence to them

He said of Ariza "He'll go through a wall for you. Just to have soldiers on your team like that is great. We have that one-two punch with me and James. We're filling out our roster with guys who are willing to go through that wall and doing whatever it takes to win."

Dwight Howard who averaged 18.3 points, 12.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists wishes his team mates well as they venture with his new team, the Mavericks.
