Ever since he arrived in Las Vegas, and got the news that Le Bron James was going to travel to Cleveland with him, Andrew Wiggins has heard his name mentioned several times in response to a likely trade-off between him and Kevin Love of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Word has it that the Cavs management is open to offering a number one overall pick for Love, in order to grant his preference for the trade-off system. This increases the chances of a possible trade-off coming to life.
Cavs coach, David Blatt, did not confirm these news, as asked in a recent interview, saying:
"Rumors are rumors. That's why they call them rumors,"
"Sooner or later in one's career, you're going to have to deal with it. If he has to deal with it now, then so be it. It's summer league. He's learning everything as he goes along."
Blatt further added that:
"What you've got to like about the kid is that it doesn't make a difference if it's the fourth game of summer league in seven or eight days, or if people are keying on him or the crowd has funny things to say to him,"
"He goes out there and really plays and has a nice calm about him and a real good demeanor. Andrew's going to be a high-level player. It's good to see."
If the rumor turns into reality, it will pose serious unfavourable stances against the Cavs, having recently excluded from participating in playoffs, and terminating former coach, Mike Brown.
