Superstar couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will be coming together for the big screen once again.
Jolie and Pitt will star together in "By The Sea," a drama that the actress has written and will direct for Universal Pictures, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt last appeared onscreen together in the 2005 film "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," where they originally met.
"I am very happy to continue my relationship with (Universal Pictures chair Donna Langley) and the entire Universal team as I finish 'Unbroken' and begin work on 'By The Sea,'" stated the actress.
Jolie added, "They have created a very special place for story-tellers, and I look forward to the continued passion and support they have provided me as a filmmaker."
Donna Langley has expressed mutual feelings of appreciation for Jolie.
"Angelina continues to showcase her extraordinary storytelling abilities in front of and behind the camera, and we are thrilled to extend our relationship with her on 'By the Sea.' Angelina and Brad represents two of Hollywood's brightest talents, and we are excited to be a part of their collaboration on this powerful piece," stated Langley.
Although the official announcement that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will be working together just surfaced, the plan may have been in the works for a while, according to NDTV Movies.
Back in 2012, Angelina had reportedly said, "I wrote something a few years ago for Brad and me. Just for fun. Just an independent little art piece because we don't get to do those as much as we would like. But it's something really small and experimental."
