Burt Reynolds has been divorced from his ex-wife Loni Anderson for twenty years now. Still, it would seem that Anderson is still in it to win it and goes after Burt Reynolds, asking for the payment of a $150,000 debt.

The 68-year-old Anderson claims that her ex-husband Burt Reynolds owes her that much money from their terribly nasty divorce settlement. The two has actually decided to officially end their marriage in 1993, only five years after they tied the knot.

The split that went on between Burt Reynolds and the former star of "WKRP in Cincinnati" is the perfect example of an awful breakup. The stud of "Smokey and the Bandit" accused Anderson of cheating, while the latter accused him of being abusive.

When both of them finally agreed on something, which was to end their marriage, Burt Reynolds reportedly agreed to pay his ex-wife $234,794.13. He has already put a dent in this settlement, but reportedly still owes Anderson $97,000. Sadly for Burt Reynolds, he had to declare bankruptcy back in the 90s.

Since then, it would seem that Burt Reynolds' finances started to go downhill, particularly as his estate in Florida was foreclosed in 2011. After everything that has happened to him, finance-wise, the foreclosure seemed to have surprised him. Burt Reynolds informed ABC News then, "I thought my career and my life could not be going better."

After this incident, Burt Reynolds continued to ignore his outstanding debts. However, just two months ago, a judge has put him at the edge of his seat as he was ordered to finally settle his debt with his ex-wife. What remained of his actual debt, plus interest, gave him a total supposed payment for Anderson of $154,520.98. It would be a good thing for him that he has just recently signed a book deal.
