Ladies, brace yourselves. It sure looks like "Magic Mike 2" is really in the works.
"Magic Mike 2" or "Magic Mike: XXL" latest cast, plot and release date news reveal that "White Collar" star Matt Bomer will be back in the sequel to reprise his role.
The sequel is set to start filming later this year.
"It's legit and it's happening-and it's happening pretty soon," Bomer said.
It has been said that Bomer had to really bulk up for his role as a buff male stripper after losing 40 pounds for another role.
"It's definitely physically demanding to go the other way as well," he admitted.
Aside from Bomer, "Magic Mike" front act Channing Tatum and actor Joe Manganiello have also confirmed their return for the sequel.
However, there's still no news about Matthew McConaughey and Alex Pettyfer. It has been rumored that McConaughey might not return given the plot of the sequel- on the road for a stripper convention.
Pettyfer on the other hand, might not get to return because of the conflict he has with co-star Channing Tatum.
"Alex is dying to reprise his role, but Channing is on the fence," a source told OK! Magazine. "It's going to take a lot of sucking up for Alex to get his part back."
The source also added that Tatum found his 24-year-old co-star to be too cocky and difficult to work with.
"Those around them tried to mend their relationship, but Channing doesn't want anything to do with Alex," a source said at the time. "Channing said he didn't want to do [the shoot] if Alex was there. Alex is known in Hollywood for being rude and difficult."
"Magic Mike: XXL" is slated for a July 3, 2015 release.
